St. Lucie Linux Users Group |
The next meeting will be held Saturday, 13 May, 2009, at 2:00pm, in the Computer Center, upstairs at the Haitian United Methodist Church, 735 Orange Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL. The agenda is open. Please contact us at the email address above for details. |
Our Mission Like most other Linux Users Groups, our primary goal is to bring Linux users, and those interested in becoming users, together for sharing and mutual support. In addition, those of us who founded SLLUG are all involved in providing technical support for a free community computer center, which provides training on, and access to, computers and the Internet for people who do not have such access, and we hope to attract other technically-minded folks to help with this project.
With grateful appreciation to Bungeebones.com for hosting our site
Disclaimer: We have heard several suggestions that we have committed a grave taxonomic error, confusing a slug with a snail in the graphic at the top of the page. However, close examination of the shell will reveal that this is not, in fact, a snail shell, but a bash shell, which is what one might expect of a molluscan Linux power-user :-).
